Let us guide you
Our experienced and qualified guides will look after you on the adventure down the Blue Doon.
We will help you organise your Gondola tickets, get your bikes loaded and answer any questions you may have before the day.
Supportive and understanding your guides will be happy to share tips and pointers so you get the most out of your biking adventure, plus their love for mountain biking is infectious!
Itinerary
A typical day will be from 10:00 to 16:00 but can be a little longer or shorter, depending how we get on!
When we meet we will have a quick chat to find out how much mountain biking you’ve done before, and what you’d like to get out of the session to have as much much fun as possible.
We will collect or buy our tickets from the ticket office and talk about how to load bikes on the Gondola (if you haven’t done that before our Guides can help you)
Before we head up we will give all the bikes a quick safety check to make sure they’re good to go – there is a bike shop on site if we do need anything last minute.
Once we are at the top we will get stuck in to riding the Blue Doon. With over 5KM of trail to enjoy we can take our time, stop often to rest or to share tips and pointers, and of course to grab some snaps for you!
The trails finish at the Pine Marten Cafe at Nevis Range, which a great place to stop for lunch. Once we are refreshed we can head up again in the afternoon for another lap, or explore other trails and challenges nearby.
At the end of the day we will be happy to give you some suggestions and pointers for other rides you may enjoy or areas of your riding that might help you improve. We will finish our ride at Nevis Range car park, so you can easily load up and head home!
What to bring
We will supply all of the relevant group safety kit including tools and first aid. We can also take some pictures throughout the ride, which we can email to you afterwards – just ask!
Remember it can be a lot colder and windier at 650M than in the car park so warm clothing is a must!
You will need to bring the following items:

- Helmet
- Gloves
- Warm Clothing / Waterproofs
- A face covering for in the Gondola and Cafe
- Snacks and a drink for during the ride!
Pricing
Prices start from £95 per person (up to a maximum group size of 6) and include all guiding and coaching for the day.
Riders are responsible for getting their own Gondola Tickets and food, but we’re happy to help you out with either one!
Bike hire can be arranged if required!
